Voki Lesson Plan
1. The profile of students
- Student's age : 18
- Grade level : 11th grade (High school 2nd year)
- Proficiency level : Intermediate level
(Students can listen and understand all conversations)
2. Goal of listening & speaking task
- Students can learn how to memorize English words with fun.
- Students can feel interest in studying English through cooperative learning.
3. Activity instructions
2 or 3 students can be of 1 group each. They have to bring the paper and write down 10 words they know for sure that other friends might not know. Then they change the paper with their friends and write down the meaning of all the words they know. And then they change the paper to each other again and take their own paper. At this time, please make sure the friend wrote the correct answer on the paper, and if the answer is wrong, students have to consider that the other friend doesn't know the word. From now on, don't do anything, and just explain words that the friend doesn't know with as easy English words as possible. If the friend doesn't get the meaning of the word, students can ask their teacher for a hint. Finally, they can know all the word's meaning and memorize easily. Let's get started!

Reflection : Following the creation of the blog, I did this for the first time. It took a lot more time than the professor said it could be done easily, and the machine error made me so tired. But on the other hand, I was glad to see myself becoming a much more professional person by doing these activities. Especially making the Voki character seems to have been enough to motivate me to learn.
